June 17, 2011 ---Our New Giraffe Habitat is Now Open! We are offering a Giraffe Encounter on Weekends for $10.00 per person which includes a short presentation followed by a Giraffe Feeding! Limited Tickets Available at the Main Entrance for the 11:30 time slot and 2:30 time slot on SATURDAY and SUNDAY ONLY. This is on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved. Update - Giraffe Encounters have been selling out by noon---so come early to get your tickets. Doors open at 10:00 am!

It is with great sadness that we pass this message. Dondi, the Asian Elephant, currently residing at Southwick's Zoo, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 28th. She will be forever in our hearts. To view Dondi's Obituary and Tribute, please click here.

Take a Ride on Our SKYFARI! It is a great way to see the zoo from new heights! It is a 15 minute round trip ride. All riders must be at least 42" tall to ride. Children under the age of 13 must ride with an adult. Coming Soon, "Skyfari" t-shirts!

March 6, 2011..Happy Birthday Tanzie!
Tanzie, our female Chimpanzee is Two Years Old Today!! Tanzie's zookeepers made her special cupcakes for her birthday to share with her family. She is a very outgoing, energetic, and feisty chimp. We can't wait to share her antics with our visitors this summer!
